April is Autism Awareness Month. The CDC states that about 1 in 54 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This presentation by Benny Delgado, CDS and founder of Leaps & Bounds Family Services, will help families learn what ASD is, how it is identified and diagnosed, how it affects children and adults as well as the types of treatments available to help families support children with ASD. Examples of specific cases will be given and questions/concerns from participants will be addressed.
